IMMJ Systems is delighted to welcome on board Brian Kennedy as Head of Clinical Strategy.
Brian graduated in 1999 from RCSI, and he has been a Consultant in Emergency Medicine since 2009. In 2018 he started as part of Cohort 1 of the NHS Digital Academy. This is a national leadership programme for Digital Leaders, run through Imperial College London, University of Edinburgh and Harvard Medical School. Brian has experience in large scale medical informatics and digital implementation. While at Barts Health he provided clinical leadership for the Cerner roll out to Whipps Cross ED and the VDI project.
Brian is passionate about sustainable careers especially in high pressure specialities. He has pioneered the introduction of annualised self rostering across the medical staff in Broomfield ED. Working with HealthRota.co.uk they have introduced their program which has a 70% approval rating from their staff. Brian is also part of the Faculty for the RCEM Clinical Leaders Programme and part of the Evaluation team for the Clinical Educators Project being developed by RCEM and HEE. Brian is currently undertaking the qualifications to be a Clinical Safety Officer.
