IMMJ Systems are sponsoring the Make a Difference awards ceremony

We will be sponsoring the Make a Difference awards ceremony on 11 July 2019, at the Royal Lancaster London Hotel. The event celebrates and rewards the dedicated staff and hardworking volunteers of the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the largest trusts in the UK, providing care at five London hospitals for local communities as well as patients nationally and internationally. They have 11,800 expert, dedicated and hardworking staff and each year they celebrate them and everything they do at their Make a Difference awards ceremony which we are proudly sponsoring this year.

The Make a Difference award ceremony will bring together more than 350 people from the Trust, including awards finalists, clinical teams, executives and senior managers, as well as volunteers and representatives from Imperial Health Charity.

The awards ceremony is the culmination of their annual staff recognition scheme and celebrates finalists in the following categories:

  • Team of the Year
  • Individual of the Year
  • Chairman’s Award (this year’s theme is driving improvement through data)
  • Unsung Hero
  • Volunteer awards.

In addition, there will be a new commemorative award in 2019 in memory of Michael Morton, chair of the strategic lay forum of the Trust who sadly passed way in 2018. This award will recognise excellence in involving patients and the public in the development and improvement of their services.

The Make a difference awards and ceremony are a real highlight for their staff each year.

“What an amazing evening! I was really moved by the stories that I heard and proud to be part of Imperial.”

“It was a fantastic celebration of our staff and the work we do.”

Imperial Health Charity will also be providing partial funding for the awards ceremony. They are the Trust’s charity, helping hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering and fundraising. They fund major redevelopments, clinical research and medical equipment as well as helping patients and their families at times of extreme financial difficulty.

Sponsorship funds help to cover the remaining costs of the event. This support from the organisations who work with the Trust is vital; it enables them to not only run this event but to make it an extra special evening of celebration for their staff who do so much to care for the patients.
