MediViewer Modules: Batch Manager
Scanned imagery, Optical Character Recognition, document classification and integration are all valuable tools in providing key clinical documentation following the digitisation of the patient’s paper case notes.
- Each EDRM project comes with the challenge of managing the scanning activity for both back scanning and any proposed day forward scanning. In support of this any scanning activity carried out should be compliant with BS10008 which is a standard IMMJ has proven experience in delivering to.
- The MediViewer batch management modules provide the systems to support and enable any organisation to become BS10008 compliant with their scanning activities.
- The batch management modules are selective in terms of requirements for both archive (back scanning) projects, and any required day forward scanning, enabling users to securely manage batch creation, consignment management and status including a complete auditing profile for where all batches are right through to their ingestion status.
- One of the key emphasis on BS10008 compliance is ensuring that standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are in place which is where Batch Manager is uniquely placed being built into the heart of MediViewer. These modules provide the non-clinical users with the required tools to manage all the required scanning services they need.
